SUWANEE — If you love the city of Suwanee’s annual festival, now is your time to prove it.
The city has announced its plans for a charter “Club 30024,” an organization that will support Suwanee Day and give members a handful of extra perks along the way. For a $100 family membership to support Suwanee Day, registrants will receive two T-shirts or a pair of wrist bands for “all-day bouncy fun in the children’s area,” $10 in “Suwanee Bucks” to spend on art or food at the festival, two limited edition commemorative pins and a photo opportunity with Parker, the Suwanee mascot. Members will also gain entry to a VIP shade tent during the event, receive “first to know” Suwanee Day email alerts and reserved parade viewing areas. Those who register at www.suwanee.com before Aug. 12 will be entered in a drawing to win one of four VIP parking spaces for Suwanee Day. This year’s Suwanee Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 17 at Town Center Park.More like this story
