NEW YORK -- Connecticut basketball star Maya Moore, Penn State volleyball player Blair Brown and Villanova cross country and track standout Sheila Reid are the finalists for the Honda-Broderick Cup.

They were chosen among the 12 winners of the Honda Awards for excellence in academics and sports.

Moore, a Collins Hill grad, led UConn to four straight Final Four appearances and two NCAA titles in her college career.

The Honda-Broderick Cup will be awarded June 27 at Columbia University in New York.
