BUFORD -- Three Buford residents were arrested last week in Hall County after attempting to sell three pounds of fake methamphetamine to an undercover agent for $55,000, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Delacruz, 26, Ricky Escobedo, 30, and Miguel Delacruz, 24, all face charges of possession of imitation controlled substance with the intent to distribute, a news release states. Escobedo was also charged with use of a communications device to facilitate a drug transaction.
In addition, Thomas Delacruz and Escobedo face misdemeanor charges of obstruction for attempting to run from the scene, the news release states.
Agents with the Gainesville-Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad and Gang Task Force, along with agents from the FBI and deputies from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, conducted the drug investigation.
