SUWANEE -- The Suwanee Police Department will host a class aimed at helping parents help their teen drivers.
The two-hour PRIDE (Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error) program will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on June 30 at the Suwanee Police Department, located at 373 Buford Highway.
The free course -- presented in cooperation with the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute -- will target making parents more aware of their own driving behaviors, assisting parents in helping their teens to become safe drivers and offering strategies for supervised practice driving time, officials said.
A parent must accompany participating teens.
Class space is limited and registration is required before Monday's deadline. For an application, visit www.suwanee.com or email Officer Elias Casanas at firstname.lastname@example.org or 770-904-7612.
