Recent Collins Hill grad Lauren Court reached the semifinals of this week's Georgia Women's Match Play Championships at Sunset Hills Country Club, falling 6-and-5 to Augusta's Laura Coble in that round.
Court, a Georgia State signee, shot 70 in stroke play qualifying to earn the top seed for match play. Coble, the two-time defending champion, has won eight of the tournament's 13 titles since its inception.
