Gwinnett junior golfers Jacob Bayer of Lawrenceville and Jordan Rodriguez of Buford both qualified Monday for the upcoming U.S. Kids Golf World Championships.
Bayer shot 77 to win the boys 12-year-old division and Rodriguez shot 75 to win the boys 11-year-old competition, both at the regional qualifier in Brunswick.
The results earned both a trip to the world championships, scheduled for Aug. 4-7 in Pinehurst, N.C.
