Minnie L. Stringer, 94, of Doraville, GA, died June 8, 2011. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11th, at Norcross First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the H.G. Wright Cemetery, Norcross. Mrs. Stringer lived on Pleasantdale Road in Doraville for 75 years and was a member of Norcross First Baptist Church for 40 years. Blessed with good health, she loved her family and was loved by her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Webster Stringer, son, Marvin Stringer, daughter. Rachel Howard, and five brothers, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dean & Judy Stringer of Talmo; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & Willard Smith of Duluth; daughter-in-law, Janice Stringer of Norcross; brother, Glyndon Garner; five sisters, Grace Walden, Retha Loyd, Eleanor Franks, Ellen Riggins, and Carole Holcomb; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to the Norcross First Baptist Church Building Fund, 706 N. Peachtree Street, Norcross, GA 30071, (770) 448-2716.
