BRASELTON -- A man is in critical condition after the jaws of life were used to extricate him from a three-car accident in Braselton on Wednesday morning.
Gwinnett County emergency personnel responded to the scene on the 4800 block of Spout Springs Road at about 11:15 a.m., discovering the incident that involved a cement truck, a small pickup truck and a mid-sized SUV, fire department spokesman Lt. Eric Eberly said.
The driver of the pickup was trapped in his car and the jaws of life were used to pull him to safety before he was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center-Lawrenceville in critical condition, Eberly said.
A second adult was also transported with minor injuries. A third was treated and released at the scene, officials said.
Officials did not identify any of the victims Wednesday.
