Fred Brooks, Sr., age 85 passed away Saturday, June 4th. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel Brooks; three children, one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law, Fred and Jeanne Brooks of Kiester, MN, Fonda and Herbert Williams of Lilburn and Debora Brooks of Loganville; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a vetern serving in the U. S. Navy, U. S. Marines and the U. S. Army during WW II and the Korean War. After this he was a master barber for 55 years in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Eternal Hills Chapel with Rev. Phillip Wages officiating. Entombment, Eternal Hills Memory Gardens with military honors. Visitation with the family will be held today 6 to 8 pm in Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, 770-972-3155.
