ATLANTA -- Forecasters are calling for more very hot weather across Georgia through the weekend and beyond.
High temperatures from the mid-90s to about 100 are forecast through Tuesday. The National Weather Service says there's a slight chance of thundershowers. Lows are expected to range from the mid-60s to low 70s.
The state Environmental Protection Division forecasts the air quality index for Atlanta on Friday as 124, which it calls unhealthy for sensitive groups.
