Next Stop seeks new volunteers

SUWANEE — The Next Stop Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Suwanee that runs programs designed to enhance the lives of adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities, is seeking volunteers.

The Next Stop recently expanded and renovated its area at Suwanee Sports Academy to include new space and a residential kitchen. This expansion provides the organization with an opportunity to register new members from the waiting list. To do this, however, the organization needs to increase its volunteer pool.

Volunteers are needed from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers can choose which afternoon works best for them. The role of volunteers is to facilitate activities, provide encouragement and monitor safety. Training is provided.
