SNELLVILLE -- The city of Snellville is hosting the 38th annual National Night Out Against Crime from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Snellville's town green at 2342 Oak Road.
The ultimate goal of the event is to develop a partnership amongst the Snellville Police Department, community businesses and neighbors where they can work together to help against crime.
The event will give attendees the opportunity to meet with local police and safety officers and vendors like MC Home Security and the Gwinnett Humane Society.
Police vehicles and tactical gear will be on display as well as K-9 demonstrations.
Activities such as fingerprinting and a bouncy house will be available for children and light refreshments.
The event is sponsored by the Snellville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and Target Corp.
