Roy Lewis Lacy, age 62 of Clarkesville, formerly of Loganville passed away, Monday, July 25, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Grayson. Rev. Thomas L. Jordan, Sr. will officiate. Burial Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson. A Service Technician with BellSouth, Mr. Lacy attended Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. He was a WWII History buff and loved flying on B-17 Vintage Bombers. Mr. Lacy was an avid gun collector, but was too tender to be a hunter. He loved animals and was devoted to his dog, Bailey. Mr. Lacy is survived by the love of his life & Wife of 43 years: Barbara Lacy, Clarkesville; Sister & Brother-in-law: Camilla & James Payne, Cleveland; Aunt: Melba Pressley, Atlanta; Uncle: C. T. Davis, Conyers; 2 Nieces and Several Cousins. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052.
