LAWRENCEVILLE -- Partnership Gwinnett's Healthcare and Life Sciences Council and Gwinnett Medical Center will host a free breakfast and health fair in August.
Held at Gwinnett Technical College's Busbee Center from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 19, the health fair will include free screenings, information booths, presentations and door prizes.
Presentations, which begin at 8:15 a.m., include nutrition (healthy diet goals, healthy cooking, heart-smart shopping) and fitness (jump-starting your exercise program, achieving long-term success).
Free screenings include, but are not limited to: blood pressure, body mass index, bone density, breast cancer risk assessment, stroke screening and sleep apnea.
