DULUTH — Officials are still attempting to determine what caused a vehicle to crash into a Duluth apartment Monday morning.
Gwinnett County firefighters and emergency personnel responded to the 2000 block of Arbor Drive at about 11:30 a.m. Monday, finding the car about two feet inside the back bedroom of an apartment, spokesman Capt. Tommy Rutledge said. The car entered through a sliding glass door and caused only cosmetic damage, Rutledge said. Two men home at the time were not injured. “We are fortunate that no one was inside the bedroom at the time of the incident,” Rutledge said. The car was being driven by a woman who lived in the same apartment complex. The driver was transported to the hospital with a minor injury, Rutledge said. “It is unclear at this point as to what may have caused the accident,” Rutledge said.More like this story
