WINDER -- A 45-year-old man accused of stabbing a man and woman Monday night was apprehended a few hours later in a Bethlehem living room, officials said.
The Barrow County Sheriff's Office issued a lookout for Manuel Angelo Finch, 45, after responding to a Winder home on Eastbrook Drive at 6:45 p.m. and finding the man and woman stabbed. The victims, listed in stable condition, said Finch fled the scene on foot.
Officials tracked Finch to a home on Turk Road in Bethlehem and apprehended him a few minutes before midnight, said Barrow County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Ryan Sears.
"Investigators and deputies informed the homeowner they were looking for Finch and he allowed them to enter," Sears said. "Finch was found sitting in the living room and was taken into custody."
After questioning by investigators, Finch was transported to the Barrow County Detention Center, where he remains without bond.
Finch is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, four counts of cruelty to children third-degree, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and criminal trespass.
