Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hughes
Arthur Hughes and Jean Hensler Hughes of Lawrenceville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 11, 1961, in Clarkston. They are both retired owners and operators of Hughes Market in Decatur. They have two children: Paige McDiermon, married to Andy McDiermon, and Penny Zitzelsberger, married to John Zitzelsberger. They also have four grandchildren: Brittany Abbott Kennedy, married to Ben Kennedy; Brandon Abbott; Hannah Zitzelsberger and Rachel Zitzelsberger. The couple celebrated their anniversary with their family at a party at the Georgia Club and on a Caribbean Cruise.
