Ari Roberts, a Buford resident, shot 74 Thursday at Chestatee Golf Club and won the Georgia PGA Junior Tour’s third Summer Series tournament.
Roberts was first overall and first in girls 15- to 18-year-old play. Braselton’s Darby Gentry shot 77 to finish third overall and third in the 15-18 division. Duluth’s Alex Kim shot 76 to win the boys 11- to 13-year-old division, and Duluth’s Tae Kim tied for fifth overall at 72 (and fourth in boys 16-18). Snellville’s Patrick Kendrick also shot 72, tying for fifth overall and winning the boys 14-15 division.More like this story
