Three nabbed on drug, gun charges

DULUTH -- Three men were arrested Monday for their alleged possession of drugs and an assortment of firepower near a Duluth daycare.

Timorthy Nathaniel Thomas, 19, Tyree Monte Davis, 20, and Robert Andrew Lo now face a myriad of felony charges following a search of an apartment on Club Place, during which police reportedly found an SKS assault rifle and at least two handguns, one of which had been reported stolen.

According to arrest warrants, police also found eight bags of marijuana, two sets of digital scales and other drug paraphernalia in the residence.

Thomas, Davis and Lo were each charged with the felonies of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, theft by receiving and possession of drugs within 1,000 feet of a school zone.

Davis and Lo also face three counts apiece of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The raided apartment is near a Kinder Care daycare on West Liddell Road.

Gwinnett County jail records show all three suspects are being held without bond.
