New musician singing Sunday at Gwinnett Place

DULUTH -- On Sunday, Gwinnett Place Mall shoppers are invited to come out and hear Jacob Latimore, a new artist to the Atlanta music scene, perform songs from his debut album.

Latimore, who recently signed with Jive Records, will also meet and greet his fans in between his performances. He will perform at 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday on the lower level of the Gwinnett Place Center Court. The mall is located at 2100 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth.

Volunteers needed for Atlanta Tennis Championship

NORCROSS -- Dream Makers Youth Foundation needs volunteers to work concession stands during the Atlanta Tennis Championship from Saturday to July 24 at the Racquet Club of the South, located at 6350 Courtside Drive in Norcross.

Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:

* 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 2 p.m. to close Saturday

* 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 1 p.m. to close Sunday

* 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to close Monday

* 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 5 p.m. to close Tuesday

* 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 5 p.m. to close Wednesday

* 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. to close July 21

* 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to close July 22

* 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 5 p.m. to close July 23

* 10:30 a.m. to close July 24

Proceeds earned will help with the general operation of Dream Makers Youth Foundation's programs and events, including its STARS Adaptive Sports Program for children with special needs. STARS offers two basketball seasons each year and year-round tennis lessons free of charge to the children served.
