Gwinnett Technical College recently was ranked seventh on Community College Week magazine’s 2011 list of the Top 100 One-Year Certificate Producers.
The technical college awarded 2,217 certificates for the 2009-2010 academic year, the timeframe which the magazine used to analyze colleges. Said President Sharon Bartels: “We put a top priority on helping our students complete their programs of study and earn their graduation awards.” “More so than the ranking, we’re proud that our students are being successful and in achieving their ultimate career goals.” In June, Gwinnett Tech graduated a record number of students for the academic year more than 1,200.
