DACULA -- Firefighters responded at 6:12 a.m. Thursday to a report from a passerby of heavy smoke coming from a strip shopping center in the 400 block of Dacula Road, near Fence Road in Dacula.
Responding crews found a utility shed on fire behind the Fernando Restaurant.
"Firefighters were able to deploy attack lines and quickly brought the blaze under control," Rutledge said.
Crews found no extension of the fire inside the business.
"There was no one at the business when the fire broke out and no injuries were reported," Rutledge said.
The exact cause is undetermined, but may have originated in the area of a clothes dryer in the shed, Rutledge said.
