The Aurora Theatre’s “Funny Fridays” returns for its fifth season of comedy performances from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. July 15 and will continue through next June.
For the first time since 2009, Blacktop Improv Group will return to the stage and provide a hilarious night of comedy. “Five years ago we took a chance that people would want to see stand-up comedy in Gwinnett,” said Anthony Rodriguez, Aurora Theatre producing artistic director. “This series has not only been popular, but it has brought new audiences to Aurora Theatre. Blacktop Improv Group features six internationally known comedians. They use ordinary audience suggestions and create entertaining stand-up sketches.
