GMC physicians named top docs

LAWRENCEVILLE -- Several Gwinnett Medical Center physicians were recently honored by Atlanta Magazine's annual list of top doctors.

A total of 16 GMC-based physicians were chosen by their colleagues to be included in the magazine's "top docs" issue, with education, professional experience and excellence in patient care taken into account.

All licensed physicians in DeKalb, Fulton, Cobb, Clayton and Gwinnett counties were invited to participate in online voting.

"The recognition by Atlanta Magazine of our exceptional physicians is further validation that we are able to offer superior medical treatment and the highest-quality patient care to the metro Atlanta community," said GMC CEO Philip Wolfe.

"Through the record-breaking growth we've experienced at GMC, our partner physicians have remained true to their core principles based on this distinction."
