LAWRENCEVILLE -- AT&T has activated a new cell site in Lawrenceville that is expected to enhance network coverage for area residents and businesses, the company announced Tuesday.
The cell site -- a place where antennas and electronic communications equipment are placed on a radio mast or tower -- is part of AT&T's efforts to extend its mobile network, according to a news release.
"Supporting mobile broadband growth is our No. 1 investment priority," said Delores Crowell, regional director of external affairs for AT&T Georgia. "We continue to make significant investments to deliver dependable wireless access in more places across Georgia."
