Katie Louise Waits Moulder Herndon, age 80 of Duluth, died June 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday July 2, 2011 at Duluth First United Methodist Church. Entombment East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceville. Mrs. Herndon was born in Atlanta and was a retired secretary. She was a member of Duluth First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Charles Moulder of Duluth, sisters and brothers-in-law Joe and Wynette Conrad of Cumming and Leon and Linda Humphries of Suwanee, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Leon Moulder, her second husband Rev. Don Herndon, brothers Carlos Waits and Donald Waits. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel 770-476-2535.
