The request to Change the Zoning for tract of land located at Georgia Highway 20, known at Tax Parcel ID: 7-346-016, Sugar Hill, Georgia. The property is currently zoned Office Institutional District (OI) Zoning Classification and the applicant is requesting a Low Density Single-Family Residential District (RS-150) Zoning Classification. The Mayor and City Council have authority to zone the property as requested, adopt the proposed amendment as supplemented by conditions of approval, rezone to any other less intense Zoning District with or without conditions, table the request or deny the request. A public hearing on the proposed rezoning modification has been scheduled for The Planning Commission on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sugar Hill City Hall Annex, located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. A public hearing on the proposed rezoning modification with the Mayor and City Council has been scheduled for Monday, February 14, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sugar Hill City Hall Annex, 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. Notice is hereby given to the public that the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia will consider text amendments to The 2000 Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia (“Zoning Ordinance”). The text amendments will make changes to Article 9 Use Provisions. A copy of the proposed amendments are available for review in the office of the Planning & Development Department located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia.

A public hearing to consider the adoption of these text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance will be conducted by the Planning Commission of the City of Sugar Hill on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Annex, which is located at 4988 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia. Notice is hereby given to the general public that Jonathan Philbrick has filed an application for a Special Use Permit on the property located at 4901 Sugar Creek Drive, known as Tax Parcel ID: 7-290-194, Sugar Hill Georgia.
