Fortune honors Children's Healthcare

ATLANTA — Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta again ranked among Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” in America.

Listed for the sixth consecutive year, CHOA landed at No. 60 in Fortune’s most recent announcement. It is the only hospital in Georgia to appear on the list, and is also one of only three companies headquartered in Georgia to do so.

“Parents trust us to provide the best pediatric care possible and to help their children maintain good health and wellness,” CHOA senior vice president Linda Matzigkeit said in a statement.

“Our commitment to making employees a top priority strengthens their dedication to Children’s and empowers them to continue to provide great care.”

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, which services countless Gwinnett residents, placed 18th in a sub-category for mid-sized companies, as well as fourth in a category for female employees.

In addition to 17 neighborhood locations, CHOA operates three hospital campuses: Children’s at Egleston, Children’s at Hughes Spalding and Children’s at Scottish Rite.
