Gwinnett Daily Post
Two Gwinnett residents died en route to a funeral Thursday, as their car spun out and collided with a tractor-trailer in a tiny Indiana town.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, siblings Logan Mills, 21, of Suwanee and Amanda Mills, 25, of Buford were riding in the vehicle of a friend just before 10 a.m. Thursday. On a snow-covered highway in Waveland, Ind., — a town of 400 residents west of Indianapolis — the driver of the vehicle lost control, officials said. The car spun into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by a semi. Logan and Amanda Mills, as well as Florida resident Anthony Suggs, were pronounced dead at the scene by Montgomery County coroner David Hunt. The trio was on the way to the funeral of the Mills’ stepmother, officials said. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unharmed.More like this story
