NORCROSS — A “pretty large” apartment fire kept emergency personnel busy well into the evening Thursday.
Gwinnett County firefighters responded to a complex near the intersection of Peachtree Corners Circle and Holcomb Bridge Road just before 9 p.m. Thursday, department spokesman Capt. Tommy Rutledge said. They found heavy flames bursting from the roof of one building of the complex at 903 Noble Forest Drive, and were forced to battle the blaze from the outside due to its intensity, he said. It took about 30 minutes to control the blaze. Four top-floor units sustained heavy fire damage, Rutledge said. Four other units sustained heavy smoke and water damage. No injuries were reported, and the cause is undetermined.More like this story
