The Public is hereby notified that on January 18th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Suwanee City Hall, 330 Town Center Avenue, The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing(s) to consider the following variance request(s):

V-2011-001- Applicant: QuikTrip Corporation. Owner: Eugene Walls. Requests a variance from Section 1704.6 of the Suwanee Zoning Ordinance to allow for a reduction to the minimum tree density requirements. The site is located in Land Lots 194 and 169 of the 7th District on the northeast intersection of Satellite Blvd and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd and contains approximately 3.96 acres.

V-2011-002 – Applicant: QuikTrip Corporation. Owner: Eugene Walls. Requests a variance from Section 1703.3 of the Suwanee Zoning Ordinance to allow for an increase in the number of parking spaces between landscaped parking islands. The site is located in Land Lots 194 and 169 of the 7th District on the northeast intersection of Satellite Blvd and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd and contains approximately 3.96 acres.

V-2011-003 – Applicant: QuikTrip Corporation. Owner: Eugene Walls. Requests a variance from the Article III definition of “Critical Root Zone” in the Suwanee Zoning Ordinance to allow encroachment of the CRZ for specific trees. The site is located in Land Lots 194 and 169 of the 7th District on the northeast intersection of Satellite Blvd and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd and contains approximately 3.96 acres.

The complete text of the proposed requests will be on file at Suwanee City Hall and may be viewed by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Buford Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Buford City Hall, 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia 30518 to consider a variance request at 2334 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard for Ultimate Auto Boutique. The variance requested is to increase the sign area from 64 square feet to 122.4 square feet and to increase the height of the sign from 6 feet to 20.4 feet.
