Anthony Capek and Amanda Herrera
Hermes and Dora Herrera of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Herrera of Duluth, to Anthony Capek of Duluth, son of Mary Ann Capek of Grayson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothea Denner of Winfield Park, N.J., the late John Denner Jr., Benjamin Herrera of Pasadena, Texas, and the late Guillermina Preciado de Herrera. She is a 2004 graduate of Collins Hill High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a Georgia pre-K teacher. The future groom is the grandson of Mary Capek of Grayson and the late Frank Elmer Capek Jr. He is a 2002 graduate of Faith Academy and is employed as a crane technician. The wedding is planned for June 4 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Johns Creek.More like this story
