NORCROSS — Gwinnett police are searching for a gun-toting robber who reportedly targeted two men in a subdivision near Norcross early Sunday morning.
The men, ages 26 and 31, told police they were walking home on Sugarwood Lane in the Abbotts Glen subdivision about 2 a.m. when they were approached by a gunman who demanded they cough up their belongings. The robber tore a gold chain off the younger victim’s neck and took items the other victim had set on the ground. A white Honda Civic then picked up the gunman and sped away on Singleton Road toward Jimmy Carter Boulevard, the men told police. The alleged victims described the gunman as Hispanic, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 175 pounds. Stolen items included a BlackBerry cell phone and gold necklace worth a total of $500, according to a police report.More like this story
