TIGER — Playing in its first Class AA state tournament game in four years, Buford’s boys basketball team scored a 64-43 victory at Rabun County on Saturday night.
Alex Flagler scored a game-high 22 points for the Wolves (21-8), who won their first tournament game since advancing to the state quarterfinals in 2007. The win advanced Buford to the second round, where it will take on Kendrick, a 90-46 winner over Model on Saturday. That game will be Wednesday night in Columbus.More like this story
