DACULA — The new 94,000-square-foot Kroger store located at 505 Dacula Road in Dacula continues its grand opening festivities this weekend with face painting, food giveaways and an appearance by Freddie the Falcon.
“The new store will not only bring a variety of amenities to our shoppers, but it will also bring nearly 200 jobs in the Dacula area,” said Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “We are honored and excited to open the new Dacula location, and we look forward to becoming a part of this wonderful community.”
Today, Freddie the Falcon will appear from noon to 2 p.m., there will be face painting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Bluebell ice cream tent will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday there will be face painting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a balloon artist from 1 to 6 p.m.
