Mr. Tillman L. Thrasher, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away on February 14, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Catherine Jean Thrasher. Surviving are: Children: Lee and Stacey Thrasher, Ron and Tyler Thrasher, Steve and Vickie Thrasher, Tammy and Tony Warbington all of Buford, GA; Grandchildren: Chris Thrasher, Lori Thrasher, Andrea Thrasher Hill and husband, Brian Hill, David Thrasher, Trevor Warbington, Tricia Warbington, Matthew Thrasher; Great Grandchildren: Tyler Hill, Emma Kate Hill, Taylor Lane, Kaden Lane; Sister: Catherine Thrasher Dollar, Buford, GA; Brother and Sister-in-Law: Kenneth and Pat Thrasher, Buford, GA; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Thrasher was born on June 20, 1927 in Buford, GA. He was a World War II U. S. Navy Veteran and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Local 225 Carpenter's Union. He attended Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Fowler, Rev. Chad Reed, and Rev. Billy Crocker officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00- 9:00 pm. Arrangements by: Junior E.
