NORCROSS — Police have identified a third suspect in the months-old armed robbery of a Norcross Waffle House.
The restaurant at 6079 Goshen Springs Road was robbed at gunpoint just before 4 a.m. Sept. 20, the suspects making out with approximately $500 from the cash register and drop box. According to reports, several K-9 units and a helicopter helped in the chase of two suspects who fled on foot.
Those suspects were able to elude capture by leaping over a barb wire fence, police said.
Two of the suspects, 18-year-old Shikeem Williams of Sandy Springs and 31-year-old Tameka Narisse White of Decatur, were identified about a week later and arrest warrants were issued.
Records show Williams was arrested shortly thereafter in Forsyth County.
Police reports said he and White were believed to be members of the gang Young N Thug.
On Monday, Gwinnett County Police issued a warrant for 17-year-old Marcelous Deshun White of Decatur in connection with the robbery. The warrant accuses White of taking the Waffle House cook’s cell phone at gunpoint during the robbery.
Gwinnett County Jail records showed he had not yet been arrested as of Tuesday evening.
