Collins Hill won the Region 7-AAAAA championship for ninth-graders this past weekend, defeating Mill Creek 43-23 in the finals and improving to 13-2 on the season.
The team is coached by Collins Hill grad Mindy Greenstone, a member of the Eagles’ 2005 state championship team, and Kristen Moore. Members of the championship team are Latia Jones, Micah Kennedy, Reya Padilla, Tasja Hairston, Abbe Kennard, Kennedy Stanciel, Mamata Barry, Nykeria Smith, Kayren Fischer, Desiree Floyd and Jasmine Knight.More like this story
