Logan Norman and Lauren Melvin
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy L. Melvin of Macon announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Melvin of Birmingham, Ala., to Logan Van Norman of Birmingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Norman of Duluth.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Harward Clay Sr. of Douglas, Corine Melvin of Macon and the late W.E. Melvin. She is a 2005 honor graduate of Mt. de Sales Academy, a 2009 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor’s degree in education, exercise and sports science, and is pursuing a doctorate degree in physical therapy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The future groom is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. B.J. Wilkerson of Doraville, Melba Norman of Duluth, and the late Kenneth Norman. He is a 2005 honor graduate of Duluth High School and attended the University of Georgia. He is pursuing a doctorate degree in pharmacy at Samford University.
The wedding is planned for March 12 at Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church in Macon.
