Gwinnett GOP to hold precinct meetings

LAWRENCEVILLE — The Gwinnett County Republican Party will hold Precinct Mass Meetings for anyone interested in becoming involved in the party at 9 a.m. today at five locations throughout the county.

These meetings are the first step in electing local and state party leaders for the 2012 election cycle, as well as a way for residents new to the process to take part in Republican party activities, according to a news release.

“The precinct mass meetings are open to anyone who believes in the core Republican Party principles of limited government, lower taxes, individual responsibility and economic freedom,” Gwinnett Republican Party Chairman Bruce LeVell said. “We welcome participation from anyone in Gwinnett County who wants to see the party succeed in 2012 as we did in 2010, particularly as we work to elect a new Republican president.”
