LAWRENCEVILLE — Twelve separate defendants were indicted this week on a total of 30 different charges stemming from the November 2010 bust of an alleged Gwinnett methamphetamine trafficking ring.
During raids on Nov. 16 of last year, Gwinnett County police executed search warrants at locations on Samuel Drive near Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross, and on Laurelton Circle near Arnold Drive in Lawrenceville. They arrested eight suspected “sellers” of methamphetamine, finding an undisclosed amount of the drug at the homes. Wednesday, those eight originally arrested, along with four more alleged co-conspirators, were indicted by a Gwinnett Superior Court grand jury on various charges including trafficking and possession with intent to distribute. Isidoro Villegas-Aguirre, Estella Betancourt, Jaime Gutierrez Garcia, Guadalupe Pineda-Jaimes and Aurelio Perez-Pineda were all indicted on multiple counts of trafficking or intent to distribute. Others indicted on lesser charges like conspiracy to commit a crime and simple possession included: Corina Lineth Fierro-Ayala; Kinneth Ray Devrick; Tracy Lynn Devrick; Debra Lynn Holley; Rigoberto Medina; Charles Hoyt Barton; and William Miles Rosser.More like this story
