DUNWOODY -- Authorities said they have arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of a man at his Dunwoody apartment complex.
Sgt. Mike Carlson with Dunwoody police said 30-year-old Kevin Stallworth of College Park has been charged with murder in the shooting death of 32-year-old Ivan Perez. Carlson said 33-year-old Antiwan Lane of Norcross has been charged with murder for hire.
Authorities said Perez was shot outside his apartment building in what appears to be a case of mistaken identity. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Carlson said investigators do not believe Perez was the intended target but declined to give more details.
Stallworth and Lane were being held at the DeKalb County jail. It was not immediately clear whether either suspect has an attorney.
