SNELLVILLE -- Eastside Medical Center recently placed on the Georgia Hospital Association's core measures honor roll.
The honor roll measures how well a hospital's caregivers adhere to a list of value-based purchasing core measures, which are clinical processes proven to be the most effective methods of treatment for surgical patients and those who have suffered pneumonia, heart attacks and heart failure.
Data collected from July 2010 to June 2011 placed Eastside in the "trustee" category.
"It is our mission to ensure that each of our patients receives the right care at the right time and this recognition validates this," Eastide CEO Kim Ryan said in a statement.
