Dorothy M. Bankston, age 86, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Duluth First United Methodist Church with Dr. Tommy Green officiating. Interment will follow in Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross. A native of Crawford, TX., Mrs Bankston was retired from Rodericks Arts and Crafts and was a very active member of the Duluth First United Methodist Church. She is survived by Sons and Daughters-in-Law; Michael and Charlotte Bankston of Fernandina Beach FL. and David and Linda Bankston of Avondale, PA., Granddaughters; Jessica Black and her husband Tim of Duluth and Jennifer Bankston of Greensboro, NC., Step Grandsons; Matthew and Christian Langdon both of Avondale, PA. The family will receive friends Tuesday December 27, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel. 770- 476-2535.
