LITHONIA -- At least four people were arrested in a mad dash by customers hoping to purchase a pair of the new Nike Air Jordan basketball shoes at a suburban Atlanta shopping mall.
DeKalb County police say that up to 20 squad cars responded to The Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia early Friday morning. They said a large crowd broke down a door to get inside before a store opened.
Police say they escorted most of the people back outside, but took four into custody.
Officers said they had to break a car window to get two toddlers out after a woman went in after the shoes. They said she was taken into custody when she returned to the car.
Names of the suspects were not immediately released.

And just how many of them collect welfare, food stamps and unemployment? I bet the majority used their "entitlements" to get the shoes. Just another form of something they believe they are entitled to!

The "99%" are constantly being oppressed. It's unbelievable that evil corporations like Nike can continuously get away with forcing hard-working people to not only pay $180 for sneakers, but to purposely make so few of them that these poor hard-working souls are driven to violence and child neglect!

Nike charges that much because they know that they will get it. Look at whose name is on them. That is the reason and Jordan is raking in the $$$. While we have to pay for it. No one in my family would even consider buying these.
