SNELLVILLE -- Police arrested two Gwinnett lovebirds after literally catching them with their pants down in a movie theater parking lot Sunday night, officials said.
About 8:40 p.m., a Snellville police officer on patrol spotted a 1999 Dodge Stratus parked across four spaces in a secluded area at Carmike Cinemas on Ga. Highway 124.
Curiosity piqued, the officer shined a flashlight in the car's backseat and noticed the pair, sans pants, according to a Snellville police report.
The officer instructed the couple -- a 17-year-old girl from Grayson and her beau, 18, of Lilburn -- to get dressed and exit the car. As the two were being placed under arrest, the man reportedly informed police of a small amount of marijuana in the car's front console.
Both were cited and arrested for public obscenity. The man was also cited for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, the report states.
Both have since been released from the Gwinnett County Jail.

Why not just tell the kids to put their pants on and move along? Then patrol the streets in Norcross, etc. and go after a few criminals.

The kids could have maybe been a little less conspicuous by parking the car in a parking space and not across four parking spaces at the very least.

One can only hope this arrest will lead to one less government dependent, at least for the time being.
