Robert G. Johnson, age 77 of Monroe, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Mickey Oliver will officiate. Burial Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Loganville. A member of New Testament Baptist Church in Loganville, Mr. Johnson was a retired Police Officer for the City of Atlanta & worked for the Gwinnett County Planning & Building Department. He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Bobbie Geraldine I. Johnson, Monroe; Children: Robert G., Jr. & Suzanne Johnson, Ellijay; Calvin Samuel Johnson & Christy Blanchford, Conyers; Grandchildren: Shawn & LeAnn Johnson; Silver City; Bailey & Jeff Wood, Lawrenceville; Samantha Cassidy Johnson, Conyers; Great Granddaughter: Allison Johnson, Silver City; 15 Nieces and Nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to New Testament Baptist Church, Joash Chest, 2165 Broadnax Mill Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052.
