Keep up the fight vs. kids' cancer
Hats off to the Gwinnett Daily Post for helping to raise awareness about Providence Christian Academy's Annual Carter Martin Classic to fight childhood cancer ("Providence hosts 8th Carter Martin Classic," Nov. 30, 4B). This year's event raised more than $84,000 for the Aflac Cancer Center to treat children with rare cancers. The eight-year total stands at more than $710,000.
More importantly, the Daily Post helped raise awareness about an event that continues to touch people's lives in very special ways beyond the blessings received through their monetary donations.
