LAWRENCEVILLE -- A Hooper Renwick School student was arrested on felony charges this week after allegedly bringing a knife on campus.

Taylor Anthony Cole, 18, was charged with possession of a weapon on school property in the Tuesday morning arrest.

Gwinnett Public School police caught Cole with a "locking, folding knife with a blade in excess of two inches" in a building at the Lawrenceville school, according to an arrest warrant.

A school police report with further information was not available Wednesday.
