Junior Black

Mr. Junior Black, age 73, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011. He was preceded in death by parents, Homer and Cora Black; and brothers Wendell Black and Carrell Black. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Jackie Braswell Black, Lawrenceville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Skip Head, Lawrenceville, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Reggie and Toni Black, Lawrenceville, GA and Randy and Heather Black, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Zach and Megan Black, Zane Black, Katie Black; Kallie Black; Kassie Black, Kamie Black and Charli Grace Head; sisters and brother-in-law, Nell Patrick, Lakeland, FL, Ann Black, Lawrenceville, GA and Jeanette and Leon Langley, Cumming, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Winfred Black, Stone Mountain, GA and J. T. and Barbara Black, Lula, GA; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Black, Lawrenceville, GA and Jeanette Black; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Black was born May 5, 1938 in Hawkinsville, GA. He was a 1958 graduate of Suwanee High School and attended Georgia Tech. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 613. He was a retired electrician from Cleveland Electric Company after forty-six years of service. He was a Charter Member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Shadowbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 2:30 p.m. until time of service.
